It is generally believed in the old country that if a child with a crowded teeth should bite anyone, a misfortune shall befall the aggressor. If the victim pours goldsmith water over the teeth marks, the teeth of the aggressor would all fall out within seven days. Of course this is not true, it is just designed to discourage children biting each other especially during altercations.

S. Adele Doherty is a dentist with private practice in Madison, TN. Dr. Doherty has been in practice for over 25 years and once lectured at the local university in Nashville, TN. He includes in his practice sedation dentistry and care of people with mental retardation as well as older adults. He likes people and enjoys working with them to solve their health problems.
